Here’s how it works:

• Cook a dish or dessert from your home country, or a country of your choice (cooking in pairs is also encouraged). Make sure you make enough to share around
• Write your name(s), the name of your dish, all ingredients you used (for allergy/religious reasons) and the country of origin of your dish on a piece of paper to take with you
• Take it with you to the Wild Lime on Saturday 2nd December at 7pm
• Put it on the buffet
• Enjoy dishes from all over the world!
If you do not bring along a dish, you are still more than welcome to come but will have to pay £4 for unlimited food!

Hope to see some amazing dishes!

ESN BLOGGERS WANTED!

ESN Southampton are looking for Erasmus and international students who enjoy writing and would be interested in writing a blog post for our website. Your posts would be posted under Erasmus+ Blog!

You could write about anything related to your time here in Southampton. Maybe you went on one of our recent trips or attended an event and could write about what you got up to? Or, you could write an article about life in Southampton, differences between the UK and your home country, restaurant reviews, something about your favourite night club, or about your top tips for Erasmus students in Southampton. Any idea is appreciated!

Or, maybe you are a home student who would like to write about your past Erasmus experience, or would like to share some tips with Erasmus students in Southampton!

If you have any questions or would be interested in writing something, please contact Chloe Connolly through Facebook, through her personal email cvc1g14@soton.ac.uk or through the ESN Soton email, on our contact page

Hello all! ESN Southampton are organising a daytrip to the historic city of Bath in Somerset. Bath is one of England's oldest and most beautiful cities as well as being just 90 minutes or so from Southampton.

You will be able to visit the historic Roman Baths, home to some of the most extensive Roman ruins outside Italy and a fascinating museum on Roman England as well as Bath Abbey and the beautiful streets and buildings associated with English high society in the 18th century.

We will meet at Southampton Central station at 8:45 and take the 9:10 train to Bath Spa station. Arriving at 10:35, you will be able to either join us in visiting the Roman Baths for some time before having the afternoon to explore or make your own arrangements for activities, be that shopping, dining out or sightseeing. We will take the 19:37 train out of Bath Spa, returning to Southampton Central for 21:03.

This event is absolutely free but you will need to purchase your own train tickets, which will be around £20 return if you have the 16-25 railcard (if you do not, I wholeheartedly recommend getting one as the discount will pay for the value of the card if you take two visits to London or Bristol from Southampton). I also suggest you buy in advance online on thetrainline or a similar website.

Furthermore, in the next few days we will be asking about who would like to join the ESN Southampton group visiting the Roman Baths, joining the group will make it substantially cheaper to enter (£10.75) but will need to be pre-arranged. Additionally I (Tom) will be leading a tour/walk around Bath in the afternoon based on my own knowledge of the area and this will naturally be free of charge.

Check the facebook page for more information.
